What is Totum Sport?

Totum Sport is the only sports supplement that contains all 78 naturally-occurring electrolytes in fully bio-available form and in the correct proportions that ensures your body can fully absorb everything it needs to properly hydrate and function right down to the cellular level.

Where does it come from?

Totum Sport is harvested from 20-30m below great plankton blooms in the Atlantic Ocean. As such it is completely natural and suitable for vegetarians. Nothing at all is added to this unique harvest of electrolytes, it is transported under carefully controlled conditions back to a Pharmaceutical grade laboratory where it is cold micro-filtered and packaged in a ready-to-drink sachet.

How and when should I take Totum Sport?

Take Totum Sport 10 minutes before exertion preferably on an empty stomach to prepare your cells for exercise. Drink water alone thereafter.  Totum Sport can then be taken every hour (or more frequently as required according to ambient conditions) during endurance events to maintain cellular hydration. Take Totum Sport immediately after training or competition to maximise your body’s ability to absorb protein and carbohydrates from your recovery products at least 5-10 minutes later.

Why should I take it?

Dehydration has massive impacts on performance. Making Totum Sport an essential part of your training and competition regime in order to maximise hydration and thus optimise performance. Research shows that Totum Sport stabilises blood sugar and prevents cramps. If you want to be your best and beat the rest, Totum Sport gives you the edge. Don’t risk letting your opponents have this advantage over you.

Why is a serving chosen to be 20ml?

One 20ml sachet of Totum Sport contains the same amount of essential electrolytes that are lost from the body, primarily as sweat, during 1 hour of hard exercise. For those events that take longer then it is perfectly safe and advisable to take more Totum Sport more frequently as required.

What flavours does it come in?

Totum Sport is derived from rich plankton blooms in the Atlantic Ocean. It is 100% natural and contains NO added sugars, additives, preservatives or flavourings. This is because any additional ingredients to Totum Sport would compromise its effectiveness. How does Totum Sport ensure the quality of its products, and what quality control procedures are involved?

The nutrient-rich solution is transported under carefully controlled conditions to our pharmaceutical grade laboratories in Spain. It then undergoes a cold-microfiltration process to ensure absolute sterility and safety. Maximum quality assurance is ensured at all times. Every batch is tested three times; when entering the Laboratories, after filtration (to test pH and salinity), and before going out to the consumer. It is then packaged to best practice according to EU GMP guidelines. This is to a far higher accreditation level than is required for food supplements. Totum Sport is then stored in unique ready-to-drink sachets with a special lining to preserve all nutritional properties and prevent contamination.

How is Totum Sport superior to other electrolyte and performance supplements?

The vast majority of electrolyte and performance supplements contain a very limited number of electrolytes, which are not necessarily 100% bioavailable. Other supplements often contain added sugars and/or flavours, which can increase muscle and stomach cramps. Totum Sport provides 78 bioavailable electrolytes, in the correct proportions to maintain the correct electrolyte balance within the body. Totum Sport is 100% natural with NO added ingredients such as sugars, additives, preservatives or flavourings.

How long will 40 sachets last on average?

The recommended consumption of Totum Sport will depend on how much you train. We recommend you take one sachet of Totum Sport before and after training sessions lasting 40-60 minutes. In which case 40 sachets should last 4 weeks when training 5 days a week for 40mins-1hr.
